Kevin Lee Christensen was born in San Diego the year the Berlin wall fell. Then at a young age, his family resettled in the heart of beautiful Willamette Valley. He grew up there and eventually began his college career at the local community college and participating in the local theatre.
In the fall of 2010, however, he enlisted in the Navy and shipped off to RTC Great Lakes. While in the Navy he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 to participate in Operation Enduring Freedom. His enlistment ended in the fall of 2014 and he returned to school, but this time in Fullerton, California.
While attending Fullerton College, he became heavily involved on campus with writing and student government groups. He was a student speaker at the schools first Social Justice Summit speaking on Theatrical Activism. He also raised awareness for faculty pay disparity including a rallying a solidarity movement to attend the local district board meeting and speak out against the fiscal stinginess of the board. He was also a member of a local group of playwrights called Orange County Playwrights Alliance (OCPA).
Spring of 2016 he graduated with honors and distinction and moved from coast to coast to attend the prestigious Columbia University in the City of New York. He currently attends the university, pursuing a double major in Theatre and Human Rights. He is also a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity on campus.
In his free time, he writes plays and posts about theatre theory on Medium. He also produces music under the alias of KVN. In 2018 he will be releasing a weekly vlog on youtube that will both document his life in NYC as well as share insights into the intricacies of music production as well as his other creative endeavors.
